Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenge- Sketch

 I kept this card very simple and highlighted the image with an amazing frame. 

Fuer diese Karte habe ich alles ganz einfach und simple gehalten und den Stemple mit einem wunderschoenen Rahmen verziehrt.

The frame is from a Spellbinder Die Lace Doily Motifs. The paper is Graphic 45.

Crafter's Cafe Challenge~ Lacy Sunshine Embossing (wet/dry)

 

Hello Fellow Crafters,

It has been very busy around here with getting both boys ready for school. This is the first year that our youngest is going to Kindergarten. It sure is a change for him.... The older one seems to be a pro and just was happy to see his friends again after a long summer break. Ok enough of the jabber and onto the fun part! 

Today it is time for my post for The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog or CCCB. Our amazing sponsor for this week is Lacy Sunshine. Our task- wet or dry embosssing!

 

Es sind schon wieder zwei Wochen vorbei und bei uns ist viel los. Wir haben beide Jungen fuer den ersten Schultag vorbereitet. Dies ist das erste Jahr das der Kleinste auch in die Schule geht. Under Grosse ist ja schon ein Pro und konnte es kaum abwarten Seine Freunde wieder zusehen. Nun gut ich habe jetzt genug herrum gebabbelt...

And her is the card that I created for this challenge:
Hiere ist die Karte die ich gebastellt habe:

The image that I used is called Cider Sticky Wings. Isn't she adorable!!! I love all the little details. I had so much fun coloring her and it is one of my favorite cards that I have made so far. 

Den Digi Stemple den ich mir ausgesucht habe heisst. Cider Sticky Wings. Ist sie nicht suesss?! Ich habe mich gleich in sie verliebt- so viele Kleinigkeiten in diesem Bild, einfach super! Ich muss gestehen das diese Karte eine meiner Lieblingskarten ist.

Here she is just colored up and die cut with a Spellbinder Die called A2 Locking Loops. I have been itching to use this die. For some reason my images were never the right size though...

Hier ist die Suesse nur gemalt und mit eiener Spellbinder Stanze aus geschnitten. Die Stanze heisst A2 Locking Loops. Ich habe schon eine ganze Weile darauf gewartet diese Stanze zu benutzten aber nie das richtige Bild gehabt da sie immer zu gross waren...

And here is my dry embossing. It is on the background paper. I thought the swirls were looking like wind blowing and the perfect fit for this fall card. 

Und hier ist mein Dry Embossing. Es ist auf meinem Hintergrund Papier. Die Kreise hatten mich an Wind erinnerert und ich fand das perfekt fuer meine Herbst Karte.

And so was the card layered and took shape of what it is now. I just love it!

Und hier ist der Werdegang wie die Karte entstanden ist. Ich finde sie einfach super!

Bi Weekly Challenge at Chocolate, Coffee and Cards #46

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Time is just going by so fast and it is time again for a fun challenge over at Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenge Blog! And this time we have a super fun challenge. The theme is "Sweet Treats". As a huge fan of deserts this was so much fun. Our sponsor is Doodle Pantry. We were given some super cute images and they came with matching papers.

Die Zeit geht nur noch schnell vorbei in den letzten Monaten und heute gibt es wieder eine neue Challenge bei Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenge Blog. Ich glaube diese Challenge ist super "Suess". Das Thema- "Sweet Treats". Alles um den Nachtisch!!! Unser Sponsor ist Doodle Pantry. Wir wurden Digi Stemple gegeben und auch passende digi Papiere.

 

I chose the yummy looking Banana Split! Here we go...

I hatte mich fuer den Bananen Split entschieden! Hier ist meine Karte...

This card was so much fun to make. As I am in the process of creating my card I came across this pale yellow paper. In comparison to my bananas it was still very "bright" so I thought I might be able to tone it done a bit by adding some dimension to it. I was able to achieve that by using a stencil and some Modellier Creme by Viva Decor. After it dried I cut the paper to the size I needed it. I was out to add more texture through different materials that I had all in my stash.

Diese Karte hat mir besonders viel Spass gemacht zu basteln. In meinem Werdegang fuer das Design der Karte kam ich auf dieses hell gelbe Papier. Neben den Bananen war es aber immer noch zu dunkel. Da habe ich mich beschlossen es zu bearbeiten mit eiener Schablone und Modellier Creme von Viva Decor. Nachdem das Papier dann trocken war habe ich es auf die richtige Groesse geschnitten.

Here are the colors that I used for the image. It was colored with Copic Markers.

Ice Creams/ Eis: R43, R46, R59, E71, E74, E77

Cherries/ Kirschen: R32, R35, R37, R39, E57, E59

Crafter's Cafe Challenge~ At the Beach

The theme for our challenge today is "At the Beach". We had some super cute images to choose from and here is my pick.

Das Thema dieser Woche ist "Am Strand". Wir hatten super schoene Stemple zur Auswahl und hier ist der Stemple den ich mir ausgesucht habe.

Ok, there are a few different things that I used to create this scene and different stamps as well. While the little crab is cut out with my Cricut the pirate and the large crab are stamps. The large crab is a digi from Meljens Designs and the Pirate is a stamp from Kraftin Kimmie. Both are colored with Copic Markers. Crushed up paper from my stash was inked up with ink and the Mulberry paper was perfect for the added movement from the ocean.

Ok, die Karte hat soviele verschiedene Teile die ich benutzt habe um diese Szene herzustellen. Waehrend die kleine Krabbe mit meiner Cricut geschnitten wurde, der Pirate und die grosse Krabbe sind Stemple. Die Krabbe ist von Meljens Design und der Pirat ist von Kraftin Kimmie. Beide Stemple sind mit Copic Markers gemalt. Zerkrumpeltes braunes Papier wurde fuer den Strand benutzt und Mulberry Papier war genau das richtige fuer den Ozean.

Now that we have all the legistics taken care of let's have some fun!!!!  For my project for this hop... I was stumped for some time. Not sure of what I would be creating  and I seemed to be going back and forth in my mind of Cricut or should I try my Silhouette  (I have had my machine now for 4 month and not have used it). So I started looking through the Silhouette store and then I saw what I needed...

 

 This is the box Jon will get on his first day back to school starting 2nd Grade. The box was easy to cut and for the most part pretty easy to put together. The directions are actually on the page where you see the project to buy at the store.  Here are some more pictures of the progress on how to finish the box.

Challenge #45 at Chocolate, Coffee and Cards

 

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Wow it has been a very busy week. Three posts in one week! That is not usually my norm, but I hope you do not mind, lol. Today it is Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenge Blog to shine with some amazing creations from our sponsor Sassy Studio Design. They have some incredible images. Sassy and super fun. For my creation I have chosen the Sassy Theodora.

Oh meine Guete ist diese Woche viel bei mir los. Drei Blog post in einer Woche! Das ist nicht normal fuer mich aber ich hoffe es ist Euch recht, lol. Heute ist es Zeit fuer Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenge Blog. Wir haben ganz besondere Kreationen von unserem Sponsor Sassy Studio Designs. Ich habe die Sassy Theodora ausgesucht fuer meine Karte.

I kept the card simple and did not use a sentiment. The colors were inspired by the movie "Oz the Great and Powerful". I loved her outfit and wanted to keep it somewhat the way it was in the movie. I used red, black and white papers. Everything I used for this card was from my stash! No new bought items. 

I habe diese Karte sehr einfach gehalten und habe auch keinen Spruch benutzt. Die Farben habe ich von dem Film "Oz the Great and Powerful" abgenommen. Als ich den Film gesehen habe war ich ganz verliebt in die Kleidung der Theodora. Die farben und den geilen roten Hut! Ich habe rotes, schwartzes und weisses Papier benutzt. Alle dinge fuer die Karte hatte ich auch noch und musste keine Sache dazu kaufen.
